Successful Completion of the Seminar: Beyond Borders: The Role of English in the Journey to Global Education

Center for Language and Cultural Studies is pleased to inform you that the seminar titled Beyond Borders: The Role of English in the Journey to Global Education was successfully held on 7 July 2026 at 10:30 AM in A 409 (Syndicate Room, A Building) at Green University of Bangladesh.


The program was graced by Dr. Serajum Munira, Director, Center for Language and Cultural Studies, as the Chief Guest. The seminar featured insightful presentations by Mr. Abdullah Al Masum, Assistant Professor, CLCS, and Ms. Sayma Yeasmin, Lecturer, CLCS, who shared their experiences of securing fully funded international higher education opportunities.

The seminar received enthusiastic participation from students across different departments. The interactive Q&A session, quiz competition, and hands-on guidance on pursuing higher education abroad made the event both informative and engaging. Participants gained valuable insights into the role of English proficiency, scholarship opportunities, application strategies, and academic preparation for studying overseas.
Overall, the program was successfully completed with active engagement from students and positive feedback from the attendees.
