The Center for Language and Cultural Studies held a successful webinar on “What NOT to Do to Improve Your Reading: Teaching Reading Skills in ESL Classrooms” on 19 August 2020 at 05:00 PM. With over 250 participants at a certain point, the webinar ended around 06:15 PM in the evening.

Dr. Mark Bartholomew, Academic Advisor, Southern University, and Former Director, British Council, conducted the session as the Keynote Speaker. Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, Green University of Bangladesh, graced the occasion as our Chief Guest and delivered the opening speech for the webinar . Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque, Green University of Bangladesh, graced the occasion as our Special Guest and delivered the concluding speech at the end of the webinar. We also had Prof. Cherie Brown, Akita International University, Japan, as our distinguished guest of the session.
