This vibrant celebration brought together nearly 400 participants, including 300 students from various departments such as GBS, English, and EEE, along with faculty members. The festival featured 11 events that celebrated linguistic diversity, promoted language education, and honored International Mother Language Day.

The festival commenced on February 12 with a Bangla Pronunciation Workshop, where participants gained valuable insights into the correct pronunciation of Bangla to preserve linguistic accuracy and cultural identity. Following this, on February 13, the Bangla Spelling Competition was held to enhance students’ spelling proficiency and encourage linguistic precision.

On February 22, the English Spelling Competition took place that allowed participants to improve their spelling skills in English while fostering a deeper appreciation for language study. Subsequently, on February 23, a Dialect Competition was organized to highlight the rich linguistic diversity of different regions of Bangladesh. The same day also featured an Admission Fair for Foreign Language Education. This fair provided prospective students with essential information about academic opportunities and language courses for studying foreign languages.

As the festival progressed, February 24 featured the Bangla Spelling Quiz Competition, which tested and reinforced students’ knowledge of Bangla spelling rules. On February 25, a Special Event with IDP was arranged to provide students with insights into global educational opportunities and language proficiency requirements.

On February 26, a Seminar for Indigenous People focused on the importance of indigenous languages and cultures, followed by a Movie Screening with a Pop up Quiz, which created an interactive and engaging learning experience. As the festival neared its conclusion, February 28 featured a Webinar on Endangered Languages and Cultures, hosted by SKB University, to raise awareness about the need for language preservation and cultural heritage conservation.

Finally, on March 1, the festival concluded with a Closing and Certificate Awarding Ceremony, which recognized the achievements of the participants and acknowledged their contributions to linguistic diversity and cultural awareness.

This festival successfully fostered a spirit of inclusivity and appreciation for language and culture, emphasizing the significance of multilingualism in a globalized world. We sincerely appreciate the enthusiastic participation of students and faculty members, whose support made this event a grand success.
