Successful Completion of the Workshop on Enhancing OBE in CLCS

We are glad to inform you that a workshop on Enhancing OBE in CLCS organized by the Center for Language and Cultural Studies (CLCS) in collaboration with IQAC, Green University of Bangladesh was successfully arranged on 5 July 2023 at 12:00 PM in B-609, City Campus, Green University of Bangladesh. It was a warm, enriching and inspiring event for all the respected faculty members of CLCS.

The workshop basically aims at introducing the new excel file of the OBE assessment system to all the faculty members of CLCS. At the very beginning of the program, honorable chief guest, Prof. Dr. M. Shahidullah, Professor and Chairperson, Department of English and Director, IQAC, GUB graced the event with his enriching welcome speech. In his speech, he highlighted the importance of the OBE assessment system and also shed light on the imperialistic and communicative views of the language learning system in today’s world.

Right after his speech, the resource person of the workshop, Mr. Md. Rasel Kabir, Assistant Professor, CLCS conducted a practical session on how to handle the new excel file of the OBE assessment system. All the faculty members of CLCS participated in that session with their own Laptops/phones.

The chair of the session, Dr. Serajum Munira, Honorable Director and Associate Professor, CLCS ended the program with a vote of thanks to all the faculty members who attended the program and special thanks to the Resource Person for conducting the workshop so nicely.
