Successfully Conducted the Seminar "Master the IELTS & Chase Your Global Dreams!"

Center for Language and Cultural Studies (CLCS) is pleased to report the successful completion of the seminar titled "Master the IELTS & Chase Your Global Dreams!", organized on Monday, 3 August 2026, at 11:30 a.m. in the Conference Room (A-302) of Green University of Bangladesh. The seminar was arranged to provide students with practical guidance on IELTS preparation, effective test-taking strategies, and the opportunities that strong English language proficiency can unlock for higher education and global career prospects. The event attracted enthusiastic participation from students representing various departments of the University.

The program commenced with a warm welcome to the participants, highlighting the significance of English language proficiency in today's global academic and professional landscape. Students were encouraged to view IELTS not merely as an examination but as a gateway to international education, career advancement, and personal development.

The seminar featured engaging presentations by three experienced IELTS instructors. Ms. Samsad Sultana, Lecturer, Department of English, shared effective techniques for developing the core language skills—Listening and Speaking. She also discussed practical methods for improving vocabulary, grammar, and overall language proficiency through consistent practice and strategic learning.

Ahsan Ahmed Zobayer, Lecturer, Center for Language and Cultural Studies (CLCS), conducted an informative session on the reading and writing skills; understanding the IELTS examination format; time management strategies; common mistakes made by candidates, and practical approaches to achieving a competitive band score.

The final session was delivered by Md. Jahid Hasan, Lecturer, Center for Language and Cultural Studies (CLCS). He provided valuable insights into preparing for higher studies abroad, selecting appropriate universities, understanding admission requirements, and utilizing IELTS scores to pursue international academic and career opportunities. His session also included an interactive question-and-answer segment where students received personalized advice regarding their study-abroad aspirations.

Throughout the seminar, participants actively engaged with the speakers by asking questions and sharing their concerns regarding IELTS preparation and overseas education. The interactive discussions, practical guidance, and real-life experiences shared by the speakers made the program highly informative and inspiring for the attendees.

The seminar concluded with positive feedback from the participants, many of whom expressed increased confidence and motivation to begin their IELTS preparation and pursue their global academic goals.
